New Senior Research Fellow for TED

Kate Goldsworthy will join the team in September (after her maternity leave) as the new Senior Research Fellow at TED.

Kate’s previous roles include Course Director of MA Textile Futures, Central Saint Martins, and over 10 years experience as a design consultant specialising in sustainability and material innovation. Her practice-led PhD project with TED/UAL explored the synthesis of new production technologies and lifecycle design as a catalyst for change in the textile recycling industry.

She has contributed to international conferences and publications and her design work has been exhibited at the Science Museum, the ICA and Crafts Council, (London), the Museum of Art, RISD (USA), and the Audax Textile Museum (Tilburg).
